As a natural light photographer, my favorite studio to use is the outdoors. The Roaring Fork Valley offers so many beautiful locations that it can be hard to choose just one for your photo shoot. My studio is any location that is special to you. Don’t know where you want to go? I have suggestions for that, too.
Great question! The right outfit can make a big difference in how your photos feel. I recommend choosing neutral or soft tones, natural textures, and avoiding bold logos or busy patterns. Coordinating (but not matching) outfits across family members creates a timeless, cohesive look.
Most importantly, wear something that feels like you — comfortable, confident, and true to your style. After booking, I’ll send you a detailed style guide and I’m always happy to help you choose outfits or review options!
My photography sessions vary and really depend on the goal of the session.
Average family, senior, maternity and engagement sessions run about an hour.
Newborn sessions take a bit more time, as they're completely baby-led — we move at their pace, allowing plenty of room for feeding, soothing, and snuggles.
I plan each session with plenty of time for wardrobe and location changes, so there's no need to feel rushed. As your photographer, I’ll offer honest guidance on how much time we’ll need to create the best experience and images possible. I kindly ask that you also set aside enough time so we can move at a comfortable pace. Our shared goal is to create beautiful, meaningful photos you'll treasure forever.
About two weeks after your session, your fully edited images will be ready to view in your private online gallery. All high-resolution digital images are included and will be available for instant download. Your gallery will also feature a selection of custom-curated artwork and products. It will remain open for three months so you can download your images at your convenience and order any additional prints or keepsakes you'd love to have.
Certainly not. While I use a professional print press which prints your images on the highest quality paper, I realize that you might just want to print some for your everyday use. All digital images come with a print release so you are able to do so if you choose.
